Hey guys,
I'm wondering what would be the most cheapest compared to the most expensivest exterior paint job.... what'st he difference in what they do or don't do??

isn't there a cheap company or type or something called "maaco" or somehting???

any input would be nice.. thakns

Painting has alot of different options that will raise or lower the price. Changing the color of your car will cost more generally because your door jams, engine bay, etc. have to also be painted which means extra work. Usually the quality of a paint job is determined by the amount of prep work done (sanding, fixing road rash, dents, etc.) and also by how many coats of paint/clear coat they apply. Obviously a cheaper paint job will do less, a more expensive job will do more.

A Maaco paint job should run you anywhere from $400 and up, a paint job at a body shop/customs shop/etc. should run you anywhere from $1000 and up. But also keep in mind that price does not always determine quality. I would get a few quotes and then check out each shops work to see just what and how they do it, ask to see some customer's cars also. Usually, though, you get what you pay for.
