I just ordered from ebay a mitsubishi eclipse front bumper for my talon, my question is why do people refer the bumper as a "cover"? what is the actual bumper then? Example,

I surely hope I'm not getting a front bumper cover. Last I checked front bumper covers can't be primed.

, I didn't explain myself well...I've always thought of a bumper *cover* as something like a bra for the front to protect the bumper from sand/chip damage. I didn't consider the post by the radiator the bumper. It just confused me because you see bodykits simply referred to as bumper instead of bumper cover.
