Hey i was thinkin about a color scheme thru out my car...as of rite now i have a black spyder with a tan top. I have been wanting to paint it for some time now and i was thinkin about a nice royal blue. But then I thought about makin the whole color scheme black and blue... Black and blue interior, Black rims with a polished lip Black housing headlights smoked out tails, royal blue paint black mirrors and black door jams...??? what u think I was also goin to change the top without a doubt to Black and a blue carpet inside. I thought the blue carpet and the black door jams would look pretty good... what do u guys think? Something to see?? or sumthin waiting to go wrong? i think it would come out good but i wanna hear u guys... thanks

Black door jams will scream that you went cheap to most people. If you want the carpet to contrast, paint the car, engine bay, door jams, and trunk (jams?) the same, then go with black carpet, blue seats, etc. The black housing lights and stuff sounds cool, as well as everything else. :thumb:

I thought that as well but what if got vinyl made stencils and painted, maybe even spray painted some blue in the door jams like lightning or flames or somthin so it flows with the rest of the car? and then clear coat? or will all blue sound better?

Opinion: I've not seen a painted interior that I've liked.

But that's me, and I'm probably not the one to ask.

I would have to agree, iv seen some pretty cool ones in the past, but i think there is a fine line between too much, and not enough (as in just a few parts and looks out of place)

but its your car so do what You want. good luck

Unless your glassing the dash and rest of the panels etc I would leave the interior stock. Your most likely never gonna like it as much once you modify the stock looks. Stock interior is best.
