How easy is it to convert a 91 rear bumper to a 94?

hey guys how easy is it to convert a 91 to a 94 bumper and tail lights? in theory it would just be some bolts and wires...anyone done it?

On an Eclipse? yep, just wiring, on a Talon, a decent amount of work.

(is there a difference in 91-94 Eclipse tail lights and bumpers???)

you are going to need : bumper, taillights, center section, sawzall(or hacksaw). remove your bumper.and take the new bumper and put it up to the car. look where the bumper drops down for the center section, mark this and cut it out of the lip running all the way around the bumper pm me if you have any problems i did this on my gsx and tsi good luck ps popups get you layed

well i found out i can get all the stuff i need, the 94 bumper, tail lights, and center section for around 100 bucks. what bumper would i have to cut? why cant i just use the 94 bumper? also, im guessing it the lights and bumper wont just bolt right up? or did it?

I think he's talking about the bracket part that holds up the bumper. That is what you need to trim. You also will need to flip the actual bumper upside down in order to place the rear bumper cover in the right position. I don't know if you have to, but you will have an easier time putting the bumper cover on. Check my gallery, I've done it. I remember somewhere in here there was a write up. The wiring of the tail lights will also need to be rigged.

think you could come up with that write up? i did a search and i didnt realize how many people have actully done the conversion. im sure if defiant sees this, he will pull up the write up from no where...(hint hint)
