Hey guys, I just got my car on monday. 1991 TSi awd talon. I need to upgrade my rear speakers and I'm not even sure how to get to them. Could someone explain to me the steps you take to get to the rear speakers? I appreciate it!

you should buy a haynes manual for your car... its a hard process to explain, but i bought a haynes manual for my car and the real help from it is the pictures, most of its common sense bolts you gotta take out, but the picture shows 3 hidden clips in the manual... just a recommendation, but you should really get one... i don't know how to just explain it, but the pictures in the book are really really helpful for projects like this.

Alright, thanks I will do that. What size are the speakers right there?

either 6x9's or 6-1/2 round, my book said 6x9's but it took a sawzall to make it happen

grab the springy handles under the front of the rear seat, lift and pull, get the back cushion outta the way, pull the bolts at the bottom of the panel, not forgetting the one kinda tucked up under the backrest,
there are three round clips on the back, under the little window, take a small screwdriver or a pen and push the center circle down, this will unlock the blind part of the clip.
it should be noted that once i popped one of these things out, i never got it to grab again, seems to be a one shot clippy, but they do sell em cheap at autozone,
now feel around the bottom front edge of the panel, pull it clear of the mudsill and work the clips out, just go around the edges and pop all the clips,
when you put it back on, make sure the clips are lined up with the recieving hole, or you wind up just folding them over and they dont wanna work anymore
