Tinting Pricing

Hi, quick question: the only place in town that does a decent job of tinting charges $200.00 tax-in, for the back three windows; this also comes with a life-time warranty. Good deal, bad deal?? I was just wondering what you guys got yours done for, thanks.

so 200 canadian.? The lifetime warranty isn't a bad deal.

I had mine done for $170 US dollars all 5 windows with a 2 year warranty.

It's going to vary from shop to shop though for pricing.

Yeah, it's Canadian funds... I thought it wasn't too bad of a deal, I've just never had this done before so I thought I better make sure I'm not getting ripped off or something.

your car will cost a lot more to do than most other cars because of the difficulty of the back window. i used to do window tinting and i would quote really high for the eclipse 95-99 because i just didn't really feel like doing them. and if i did do them i should be paid a lot more than doin other cars..

I got my windows tinted at a shop that was recommended by EVERYONE. 5% tint all the way around, with a tint strip on the windshield for $150 and that's with a lifetime warranty. I watched him do it all, and that back glass is a PITA. He got it done, and he wasnt 100% satisfied with the way it fit up top, so he ripped it off, and re-did it. I didnt even notice it, but he was really picky, so....that's a good thing when it comes to window tinting.
BTW, that $150 was a "deal" because that's what he was charging all of my friends, and they recommended him to me.

yeah, I had mine done with lifetime for $150 too. Wasn't a hook-up price or anything.

Well, I payed 200 cdn for my windows in edmonton, it was all 5 windows, and the back window was 1 peice of tint, not 2 like most companies around here want to do. He said any color/tint i wanted too. If you want to do the driving, check our Garage Works.

Around here, the best place charges $100 for the back three windows. And another $30 for the front two and another $30 for the windshield. If it ever has any problems, he'll fix it for free.
