i took about 9 bolts out of the fender and it still wont come off, is there something im missing?

There is a square bolt near the right of the headlight. I wish I had a diagram to show you. Anyone else have some pics? I assume your car is a 1g?

Ha, i was just going to make a post about this, i'm taking my passenger fender off on saturday. Square bolt? will a cresent wrench work fine, or do i need a special tool? And hidden bolts other than that one, like in the door jam, or behind something?

when you open the hood, theres a line of bolts down the dop lip of the fender.

when you open the door, theres a bolt inside the door jam area where the hinges are

you will need to unbolt the bumper from the fender

you will need to take out your side marker (hidden bolt in there)

and also at the back of the fender (nearest the door, way down and UNDER the car, theres two bolts on the bottom lip of the fender.

hope that helps you find the bolts, dont know about this square bolt, i used the same socket for all of them.

i got everyone but the one that connects it to the bumper...do i have to remove the bumper?

the bumper doesn't have to come "off" just take the 2 screws out and pull the bumper down and out of the way...also... don't forget that the splast shield or "wheel liner" may have some clips in the fender also..
