pleaseeee help!!!

im paintin my 2g spyder and i came down to two colors...black or sunset orange pearl...i wanted orange cuz i liked how it looked on the few car i seen it on, but then i saw a couplea all black cars that jus looked hottttttt!! but the only prob is that every1 has a black 2g!! i dont really wanna look like every1 else, but i really wouldnt care as long as my car looked nice...so wadda ya think? black or ss orange?

I personally would go with black although they will show swirl marks more. Also, if you have some pics of what the orange color looks like, that would be helpful. Afterall, there are thousands of oranges and the name of the orange is opinionated.

I can see why you like it, looks nice. The problem with this is that touch up is going to be a pain in the ass. Custom color and it looks like a metallic. With metallic, you cannot brush it on, but can be sprayed on. And because it is a totally custom color, you may have trouble getting it in a small spray can to spray. Still, tempting.

yea...its a hot color..keep in mind ill have a evo cf hood, black proj. headlights, cf taillights...inside is gonna be black and cf...now if i go with black paint..inside will be red (guages etc...) if its orange, itll be blue.. also itll have da stillen front bumper, invader sides and stock back...and its a spyder so itll have a black top w/ black tints and black rims. so its either a orange and black/cf scheme or an all black/cf 1....opinions?

yesSSSSS!!! thanx a lotttttttt i woulda neva found that pic!!! its even better now cuz now i can compare 2 actual pics instead of wonderin wat a orange spyder would look like.. i think mine'll look even sicker with the sideskirts, bumper, evo hood, black rims, black proj. lights and cf tails...

I think i may have a solution to your problem..Well as most of u know black is the hardest color to paint, as far as showing body marks..but if u have someone that knows what their doing that wouldnt be an issue, but n e ways, if you cant decide then why not do a little of both, use like a carbon or jet black, with the HOK sunset pearl mixed in, That way it will look black at night, but where the sun hits it u will see a orange glow, looks real nice

Go with the Orange.

As for the custom color being hard to do touch ups, it does suck. :thumbdown My car is 3 stage pearl....I had my front clip repainted and you could see more pearl in it. I actually like it better than the rest of the car now. Oh well, my baby's getting repainted again soon!!

In a couple of years, you might have wished that you went with something that doesnt stand out so much. I would go with the "wet black" from House of Kolors. It pretty much always looks like water sheeting off of it, very high class color. But without so much attention.

From the ladies that I drive in my car, they all say that a clean black car is one of the sexiest things on the planet. I wish i had the wet black paint!!!!!

You might "grow out" of the orange. There will be times when you dont want the attention that you will get from that color (cops, burglers, buss stop skanks).

And around here, the Black 2g is one of the rarest colors!!!!

go all black, like Seatle GST said, you are probably gunna grow out of that orange, i mean its a sick color but you will probably grow out of that color pretty quick, and since you're doing all that c/f i think it would look way better black. Just my opinion.

yea...ur probablly rite..i wanted orange soo bad..but then i saw black n i kinda changed my mind. if i changed my mind that fast...and i do get orange...i prob would keep wishin i had black huh? the orange is kinda like a damn ur car is hot ish...the black is on some ol im bout 2 f^ck u up ish!! i think i like #2 :laugh:
