hey im in the market frn a new alarm. im looking for a 2way lcd type alarm. any1 know which 1s are good or "the best" thanx :thumb:

I just got my AutoPage RS-720LCD installed in my car yesterday. It has a 2-way pager, remote start and everything else you need. BTW, the remote start is f'ing awesome and it impresses the ladies :thumb:

I got it for 320 installed.

I had a compustar on my last car....that thing was awsome. Has 2 way pager, remote start, turbo timer all built in. Plus you can buy extra sensors for it later and have it start the car up when it gets below a certain temp., or auto matically roll the windows up....stuff like that. Pretty nice, also depending on the model you get it can have up to 1.25 mile radius.

I forgot to mention about the turbo timer and temperature reading (have to buy an extra sensor)

I saw compustar, but isn't that alarm like over $500 bucks?

Yea I am trying to find one too for less than 400 that has the capacity to roll up the windows ( and maybe the sunroof). I always have my windows and sunroof up and its a pain to always have to stay in the damn car the extra 6-7 seconds to roll up all the shit.

I bought mine at a local shop where i'm friends with the owner. But it's not too much more expensive, it'll probably be about 375 ish. One thing you can do is buy the alarm off eBay, and then just have it installed at a shop, you'll save yourself about 50-75 bucks.

and does that unit have the broken glass alarm feature? or could u use it to put my top down (spyder) instead of lets say a sunroof or windows?? thanx

hey, not to barge in on this post..but ur talking about alarms...i was thinking about getting an alarm..do i need to get a disable switch if i plan on working on my car, cuase wouldn't the alarm go off or disable the car if i unplug the negative battery terminal
