That is _real_ cheap. I wouldn't go for it, man. Pick up a used VIS or something.

actually, i just got one of those hoods, and its pretty nice. Has the UV protection and the cf is layed alright (looked like mine had a couple small areas where the weave messed up, nothing too noticable though). Havent put it on yet, but for 200.00, who the hell cares. Its light and does its job.

oh, and it does have the structural backing to t also.

Nice car, btw.

I actually ordered one and im very pleased with it. there are a couple lumps in it but that's about it. i would recomend it for the money!! Post pics later on....

i just put one of those hoods on my car a week ago. i reely like it. it weighs about 12 pounds and the weave is great but it is not double sided CF. it fit perfect the only modification needed to put it on is to drill holes in the bottom for windshield washer lines. it took exactly 6weeks from the day i ordered it for it to get to my house but i only paid $278 for it with shippin. i deffinately need to put hood pins on my car because the saftey latch does not catch now but other then that i would reccomend this hood to anyone unless you can get a VIS for cheaper than that.

Here are a few pics of the hood.....what do u think? :dsm:

Well, update on my hood....

The sides fit like ass. Kinda a noticable gap. Also, i had to open up the nozzle holes a bit to fit the nozzles, which are now crooked a bit. :p Also, one of the bolt holes you kinda had to "pursuade" it to line up.

All in all, it was a decent hood for a cheap price. I wouldnt reccomend it for anyone trying to win car shows or anything, but as i said before, it does its job. :thumb:
