Wiring already there?

My car is the bottom of the barrel as far as options. I drove it in a previous winter and the biggest problem I had was that there is no rear defrost. I was looking into buying a kit to add it, but found a hatch on eBay that has rear defrost for $25 that is located very close to my town. I have the switch for the rear defrost from a TSi, I got it when I replaced the hazard switch. Would my car have the wiring to put the defrosting hatch on it and use it with the switch that I have?

not certain, but if you pull off the plastic trim piece around the radio and hvac controls,you might be able to futz around in there with a mini-maglite and see what youve got for wiring,
even if you dont, you could just pick up a relay and wire it up samuri-style....
