hey guys i have a collapsible antenna that broke..... i want to replace it with either a whip antenna (like the one that came on the RS) or one of those short antennas that come on the volkswagens or audi's......... i just want something that will pop in and that will require little to no modification...... does anyone know where i can find them? Thankx

Looks sick, but has anyone tried this with a genuine s2000 antennae? Just curious.

you really don't need an antenna at all - i have the same car as you and there's one built in to the rear window at the top - my power antenna broke and i didn't even bother replacing it because the window antenna works just fine - guess it depends on where you live though, if the signals are strong enough

Yea, I just shaved over mine. I still pick up good signal, but I never use the radio anyways so it wasn't an issue. IMO it looks wayyyyy better.

so looks like s2k antenna is the way to go...... first where do i get one and second does anyone know how much im looking at spending? thanx for all the help guys.

Old thread, I know.

I just want to confirm this with someone who has tried it. If I remove the main stock antenna (black cable that goes to head unit) and just use the antenna that is on the rear window (gray cable), the radio will still work decent? I want to remove the main antenna completely, including the wire that runs to the head unit and I'm not sure if that's what the people that responded in this thread did or not. I want to remove it for weight savings and just because I hate seeing the antenna go up and down all the time.

Watch out when getting an S2000 antenna, they are prone to get stolen by 7th gen 2000+ celica owners because its easy replacement on their cars. Or also from s2000 owners because of 7th gen celica owners stealing theirs. LOL
