red and green capped wires go? Nowhere? I searched but didn't find any info on this. I have the harness and off of (appears to be spliced off for alternate connectors) the red power and green..? wires with connectors on the ends. Do I just leave those wires alone?

Thanks!

the only ones i used .. was the brown (i think? .. that you attach to the handbrake) and the ignition plug that you use to keep teh car running whilst the key is off..

The other wires are for the alternate saftey features and arent needed unless desired.

Thats what i gathered .. mine worked

Just the harness makes it work, the rest is optional. Guess those are for alternative power sources and whatever else the green is for but mine works too! Thanks!!

I think you can hook them up to a push button starter or any other gauge or accesory you want to come on when the car is on. But hey that's just my guess.

The extra wires are for the handbrake, speedometer, and clutch I believe. If any of those are activated, the engine will die, to prevent theft.

the full auto silver one. I got it off ebay, it looks just like every other harness I could find. I think what was said earlier is it, the red is for an accessory you want on during operation, and the green. Handbrake activated it will die? Clutch activated it will die? Speedo activated and it will die? The manual says the prple is for speedometer so the TT can show you speedo digitally, red I'm guessing is accessory also powered on when ignition is on, green...don't even know!

I was talking about the old TT. I had a Greddy one about 7 years ago that if you had all the wires hooked up correctly, it would die if the TT was active and the key was not in and any of those three were activated (Clutch, Brake, Speedo).
