1G RMDSM style lip

does anybody know if there is anybody out there that offers the RMDSM style front lip for a 1G that is so common for the 2G's? i want to know if there is anything available that style, carbon fiber, abs...anything. here is a pic of one from a guy i know that is custom made, i was going to get one from him...but no more are available.

i saw that thread, but i dont want the full lower cladding...i just want the carbon style LIP.

i don't nean to jack the thread but i'm looking for the exact same thing right now. I've only seen one or two 1gs with front lips like that, but I love the look

if i cant find anything then i may end up making my own out of ABS or have my friend make one out of carbon fiber for me. if either of those happen then i will let you know and give you a price what we would do another one for.

Now that I see the pic, I see what youmean. That looks WAY better than the Mazda piece. If you do get one, let me know, Im WAY interested in it. But I dont think I want CF. I might try to make one outta some 1/4 inch Lexan I have here just to see what it looks like.

I made those lips. I did a run for 1gs, but there wasnt enough interest to keep making them, so Im only making them for 2gs. Heres another pic of a 1gs lip:

is there any way i could get you (TOTalon) to make another, or just make a template so that i know how to make them? either way i would pay a huge price to get one of these, so if you dont want to make them again, could you (TOTalon) send me a template so that i could? i am believing that it was your friend or accuaintance who owns the car in the picture i posted and i asked him about where to buy them and he said you were not making them anymore. i was interested in buying his car but then our deal didnt work out. anyway, if you (TOTalon) could get back to me and let me know if you (TOTalon) would do a run of them again for the guys interested here, or just want to send a template i would be more than pleased. thank you.

Im not going to give away my designs as Im sure you can understand.

I have to get them cut in batches of 15. The only way I would consider doing another run would be to have at least 10 people put down deposits. Unfortunately, these lips take a while to make, so there would be a long lead time. And, no offense, but 1gers are cheap, so I dont see it happening. If you think you could round up enough people though, PM me.

I really like the idea of the lip - I know I saw the post talking about selling the last batch of the 1G ones a little while back, and I thought about it - but I'm real picky about changing the bodylines of the car - just sticking a flat piece underneath the stock bumper doesn't do much for me - it DOES look somewhat decent, but I'd prefer something that can mold or mesh with the rest of the bumper, like a real lip would.

I imagine one could get one of those lips and use some kind of compound/material to make that happen... I'm just looking for some kind of slight curve into the lip. DSMs are curvy vehicles (humbug to those who say 1Gs are boxy!) - so I think a lip should match up with that.

well if i can round up 10 people to put down payments on them he said he would make more. so anybody who is interested and SERIOUS, PM me. from there assuming i get 10 people ready to put downpayments on them i will PM 'TOTalon' and we can go from there. however if i do not meet the 10 people criteria then i will be trying to fabricate my own and i will go from there after seeing how my own production quality would be.
