Wiper conversion

Anyone know if you can change your wipers from 2 to 1? Ive seen it done on a 3g but not a 2g?

it's possible, i believe they sell kits for it...don't know where tho. maybe try ebay. one question tho......WHY?

the problem with the 1 wiper conversion is that it greatly reduces the effectiveness of the wiper, therefore decreasing visibility. i understand the desire to be different but i would suggest something that is not a potential hazard. if you must do the conversion i would check ebay or maybe apc. good luck

i would also like to add that i know many a ricer with 1 wiper. DONT GO RICE, SAVE YOURSELF!!!

Just take one wiper off, and position the other where you want it.

The single wiper came from Mercedes cars and Touring Racing. Then a company followed and made a an awesome kit for VW's. And then the ricers saw this and started doing it by taking one wiper off their car, and positioning the other so it stuck right in the passengers view, and only covered part of the windshield.

I've always wanted to find a wrecked mercedes with the single wiper, and pull everything off it, and some how fab that onto my car. Then it will be functional and cool. I remember when a lot of my friends would see a mercedes wiper for the first time. They were always like WTF? Because this big wiper would appear out from under the back of the hood, and swipe across the windshield real fast, and then go back into hiding. It's really cool looking.

its like turbosporttalon and 1stgenracer said it looks good and its easy to do. ive got it done on my 1st gen

p.s. the passenger always complains about not being able to see, but its like i say they dont have to see whats in front of ----->YOU<-----
