ok i've heard so many things about the body of 1g's that i dont kno wats tru and wats not. My question is, is the 90-91 eclipse, talon, n laser body the same or different? and also, i've seen a few aftermarket tail lights that would work on 1g eclipses but not on talons or lasers. why is that? im pretty sure 90-91 tail lights on all of em were the same. thanks

the only diffrence between of the 1990-1991 model years is the front and rear bumpers and the sideskirts. I had a 1990 gs-t that had a gsx front bumper but the rear bumper looked bad, so i went to a junkyard and got the rear bumper off of a 90 talon tsi awd and put it on. Also there is a diffrence between the tsi wing and the gsx wing. the gsx wing starts at the middle of the rear quarter panels, as opposed to the tsi that has black plastic that runs all the way from the spoiler to the mirrors. hope this helps.

Yup, the sheet metal for a given year is the same, and they styled with plastic bits- most of which will either swap over directly, or with only minor hole drilling/filling and sometimes a bracket or two.
