97 Talon Badging/Nameplates/Lettering

Hi all,

I tried to search for this but came up empty.

Anyway, my 97 Talon TSi AWD Turbo is black (Sweeet!) with purple/light blue badging (yuck!).

I work in insurance, so a co-worker looked up the cost of replacement nameplates using his estimating software. Apparently they come in a variety of colors. The problem is that the 5 nameplate kits would cost $96. Anyone know where I can get the replacements for less? If not, anyone have any ideas regarding painting? Any other solutions for purging the light blue/purple from my car? I like the badging and want to keep it, just not the color.

Look for a dealer who'll give you a better rate.

Not many colors are still available.

I always thought the purple was just weird enough to be cool, but that's me.

Hell, you're in the biz, you should have a body shop pal who'll wholesale them to you.
