Took apart the head light so i can paint the houseing black.
I had tried to clean the glass of the headlights but they are still yellow and i have searched and found nothing for getting rid of this yellow on the glass. All that work for no reason.
I read that other post up there and it was like from 04 man. I wonder if the guy ever figured out how to clean off that yellow on the lights?

There's a bunch of tech articles on how to remove the yellow.

Writeup: Getting rid of the "rock chips/dust" on the 97-99 headlights (I like this one the best)
Yellowed headlights

Cleaning yellowed headlights without sanding!

Just be warned that if not done well, it may work at first and then the yellowing may come back in a few months.

I vote for Paint Matched Headlights. I just think it looks hella sexy. Anyone wanna say ricer? Chevy started doing it with their new Vette's... Maybe because it just looks better! If I'm not mistaken, so does Ferrari.

I think it looks ok on some Vettes and blah on others. The same goes for DSM's.

Some Ferraris do and some Ferraris don't.

I would paint match it with my car but i have the projector halo lights already.
I will paint these black rid the yellow on the glass and then most likely sell them.
Or if someone is intrested in these lights pm me i can also spray it to match your color of car.
