yea, more leg room would be nice, im 6'1 - 6'2 and i have seat all way back, only about 1 inch inbetween the back seats and the back of the driver seat.

what are you talking about? i'm 6'6" and I have very long legs. I fit in my '90 just fine, and I even have Q-forms in place of my foot rest. I've driven many 2G's, and i've never had a problem with legroom.

well youve ridden in magical eclipses then because im only 5'9 i had a 2g i had to have seat all the way back and my legs touched the steering wheel with it all the way up and i only way 130-140 so its not like im fat so my legs rub....

5'9"..? All the way back? I'd go and remeasure your height again. You definately don't need to push your seat all the way back. Either that or you have very disportionate legs.

Unless you like to be lying down while driving, you don't need more room to drive a DSM unless you're over 6'6" IMO. I'm 5-11, and I like a lot of room to drive, and my seat is not even all the way back.

Ya man, I'm 6'2" and I gained sooo much head room with my Sparco Torino seats, and a little bit of leg room.
My stock seats gave me back problems, gave me no head room, and my legs were always uncomfortable. :(

im exactly 6' with no problem driving 1gs or any 2gs and my seats are not all the way back. with the seat all the way back, i can barely push the clutch pedal down to the floor

There must be some very short legged tall people out there.
This should help. There are some ideas I had as well as a mod to get the steering wheel a little higher which is the main problem. I have never had a problem with headroom in fact I always thought they should have dropped the roof 3 or 4 inches. Of course that would be good untill I put my rollcage in then it would just suck.

why not just rip up the sliders and move the sliders back in the car... than remount the seats so you can have even more legroom???

Well some of us prefer racing posture instead of kicking it homie g style with the seat all the way back, the backrest fully reclined, and their hair being the only thing you can see when you look in the window. To adjust distance from the pedals you press your foot up against the fire wall or depress the brake pedal as hard as you can to make sure your leg doesn't fully extend when hard on the brakes, then you adjust the backrest so that when you are pushing yourself back with both shoulders firmly planted in the seat you want your wrist touching the steering wheel. This way your arms won't be overextended and in performance or recovery situations you can press yourself into the seat keeping your upper body fixed so you just have to worry about moving your arms. If your backrest is too far back you will need to use your stomach muscles to hold yourself up close enough to the steering wheel, and to see over the dash :D Leaving your torso to the effects of g force, and greatly reducing precision of inputs.

Maybe I have helped someone today.
It would bring a tear to my eye

6'5" 210lbs, 'nough room for me! I'm not really sure how you can run out of room being so damn small?

I was worried about racing style seats taking a few inches away on top or leg room. Only reason I don't have them :(

im 6'1'' and i have my seat probly 3-4 notches from the back. i have the steering wheel probly somewhere around the middle, because i hate holding my arm so high up. im assuming the people that say there isnt enough room arent driving right... like you said homie g style :thumbdown

My problem is or I should say was before I took out my center console is that my right leg would be in contact with the steering wheel so when I went to turn and my hands wouldn't slide past my leg causing a jolt in the steering motion.
