i bought rockford fosgates for the front and back

front ones went in fine (except now my window on the passenger side doesnt work  )
but we tried to put the rear ones on but the bolts dont match up or anything? and after that they would stick out really far so the panel prolly wouldnt go back in

im gonna take them in tomorrow to get proffessionally installed, but thats 40 dollars that i could spend on paying the car off or something...any tips on putting them in myself?

in my car i removed the puny stock stereo system to find out that the sixx9 's were not going to fit (although i was told that 6x9's were going to fit no prob.). i busted out the hack saw loped the two nubs at the top and buttom then cut out a bigger whole to fit the speaker then drilled the speaker to the new piece and bolted it back in... that easy. I also Reckomend while your back there and you have the back seat out and the two side panels that u pick up some home insulation $10 (i got he 3" acoustical kind) I put a strip under each butt cushion (softer) in the rear seat and filled the spaces in the side of the car ...You would not believe how mch better my system sounds and Interior noise is reduced drastically. Also my car heats up fast in the winter and retains my AC in the summer much better.

i found this in another post but i dont really get how he did it?

I had the same problem what i did was take a piece of ply wood 1/4 inch thick is what i used trace the metal plate that holds the speaker in on your stock speakers onto the wood. cut it out ( i painted mine black cuz it looked like junk with wood holding my speakers in) then you just cut out the holes so this can mount where the metal one used to then just put the new speakers in this. really all your doing is making a mounting plate , know what i mean?
