I have a clifford 2.5x alarm on my car, and its not very sensitive at all. I have a guide but it doesnt tell me how to make it more sensitive. For example, my friend hit my car with his car in the parking lot and it didnt go off, i just want it so if i hit it with something it will at least give a warning. Any one have any idea how to make it more sensitive. THanks

go to the clifford web site and you can download all the manuals you need and they tell you everything about the alarm and how to adjust it. that's what i did. would you believe: www.clifford.com :thumb: good luck

on my clifford matrix rsx 3.5, there is a shock sensor mounted on the steering collum that you can adjust with a screw to how sensative it will be. it is a metal bar that detects vibrations throughout the body of the car

and you wonder why best buy doesn't carry them anymore...

thats because they carry viper which is the sammmmmme exact thing but a different color...(i work there)

viper and clifford are made by the same people, however are far from the same thing. if you had ever installed a clifford you would know this. the programming on the cliffords are an absolute whore, but they're awesome alarms. and the blackjax feature is really cool, as well as the visible valet :)

there should be a shock sensor somewhere under your dash. you will see a small box with one set of cables going into it (about 4 wires in a ribbon cable). there will be a led, maybe 2 led's on the box itself depending on the model. and there will be a little nob with an arrow on it. turn it clockwise to turn the sensitivity up. or take it to any authorized dealer and they should be able to do it for you :)

hoover is right. they are the exact same except the remote color which the viper is blue and the clifford is carbon fiber. at least with the clifford matrix rsx 3.5 and the viper 791xv.
