Alright i just bought a almost complete system from my friend, i did some research on everything, but i did most of it tonight AFTER i bought all the stuff 
i'm stupid, and also i dont know a whole lot about car electronics at this point, so lets just hope i'm in decent shape as of right now.
From him i bought:
Alpine CD/MP3 Head Unit, Model CDA-7995 (its a little old i guess its not on their site to view, but i check on ebay and a couple ppl are seeling them and they all have good things to say about it)
Eclipse 960MAX Watt Amp, Model PA5532 (also checked that on ebay and they have good things to say about it aswell, this one is on their website, http://www.eclipse-web.com/index_amp.html )
and this is the most tricky and controversial part of the sale, I also got from him 2 12" Performance Teknique 1000Watt Subs in a very good box (ebay also and a person is selling retail singles of them for 75$, so basically they are crappy subs i guess, and i've also heard they are bad, but let me just tell u THEY SOUND GOOD)
Alright so i got the deck, the amp, and the subs in the enclosure, for 600$ cash, from the prices on ebay it seems like i didnt overpay too much, now i'm just worried about quality, i'm taking it into a sound system store tommorrow to have them look at all the parts and tell me the quality of all of it. But before i can get any answers from them what do u guys think? Yes i have heard the system when everything was hooked up and like i said it sounds VERY GOOD, but i really dont understand how he hasnt blown those subs from underpowering them, hes been running this system this way for a while i guess, bit i dont get it cause the amp is like 1000watts MAX, and the subs are like 1000Watts RMS, thats 2k watts RMS on an amp thats 1k watts MAX. Isnt that bad?
When i ask the guy who sold it to me about that he says that the amp is really good it just pushes hard, but i was always under the impression u should get a better amp than subs, just so u can underpower the amp so it doesnt heat up and support the subs easy, just make u sure u dont overpower too much.
ANY FEEDBACK OR EXPERIENCE WITH ANY OF THESE AUDIO PARTS IS WELCOME, I WANT TO KNOW EVERYTHING ABOUT THESE PARTS BEFORE I INSTALL IT WRONG AND WASTE ALL MY MONEY, cause like i said, i'm not completely knowledgeable when it comes to car audio.
