if you want to keep your pop ups, its a matter of some trimming and fiberglassing to get it to look right.
its not that much work...as long as you or someone you know (or shop) knows how to glass

I just got my Drift kit yesterday, and it's definately gonna be a chore. Lots of fitment issues. The worse one being the fact that you have to remove the front metal bumber and fabricate a new one for the front of the kit to slip over and bolt on to. Also there will be some trimming required on the front, but it looks like it's only the lip that goes between the turn signal and parking lights. I'm going to see if there is a way that I can shape this to form to the 1Ga. On mine I didn't see any issues with the pop ups. There will also be a lot of screwing in to the kit to get it to form to the contours of the body. It also doesn't bolt up where the stock ground effects did. So there's gonna be a lot of fiberglass and bondo work to cover up the fastener areas. I'm really surprised no one has done a "how to" on this. Just to give anyone considering this an idea of how much work this actually is and help give some tips on fitment and fabrication. You can tell a DSM'er to take it to a shop all you want but the nature of the breed is to do it yourself. I do recomend having body work and fiberglass experience before attempting this though.

working on it! im actually building a 1g interior/exterior site that will be packed with my experiences, how to's and many other things. id also like info from other people about 1g stuff so will except any and all write ups and such that you can think of. I have alot of stuff done already for the site...but no place to host it yet.
