are this good or bad rims???

I'm in need of new tires so i'm just thinking of getting rims and tires. What do you guys think about this rims? and what kind of tires would be good? The guy is selling them for $300

I have the same rims (Motegi MR7 17x7), only silver. So far I like em.

Have fun cleaning a white rim though...thats all i can say. Silver is bad enough.

they are not the top of the line rims that's for sure. but they dont look to bad, if you dont want them, i'll buy em'... j/k, yeah that's a good price even with the tires, good thread?

I got them they were $300 they do have tires but they are no good. I was thinking of getting some kumhos. I wont have money to lower the car right now I have to fix some other things first. What size should I get? I dont want to get them too low because the rim will probably look little if its not lowered. what can I use to clean the rims?

lucky bastard, yeah they are nice, and i knew you would buy em'... to clean them all you need to buy is that brake dust cleaner or rim cleaner crap bottle. nice though, are they all in perfect shape? and let us know when you put them on, i'd like to see how they look like on your car! peace

I saw this rims today on the classifieds and I decided to get them. All 4 rims are in perfect condition. I will be posting more pics of the rims once I get them on the car but first I need some help on deciding on the size of the tire since I wont be lowering the car just yet, I have noticed other cars getting really low tires and they look kind of funny because the car is not lowered. So what are some good sizes?

225 45 17 is pretty close to the stock tire height (where you wanna be). I personally run 235 45 17 cuz they are slightly wider than the 225s & slightly taller than stock. Either way.. you should have alot of tire choices in those sizes. I personally recomend against the kumhos.. just from personal experience. It's really hard to recomend a tire without knowing what the customer is looking for... a really good handling tire w/ a soft compound is gonna wear rather quickl, and a long lasting tire isn't gonna handle as well. Also depending on where you live you'll need to consider whether you want summer performance tires.. or something of the all season variety. It all depends on your personal needs.

I'd use Simple Green to clean the rims, then you don't have to worry about damaging the paint. Just my opinion from personal experience.

I was looking at those too... I have Konig 17x7 Tantrum series and they are IDENTICLE to the Motegi rims except they are about 50bux per rim cheaper new. 170 vs 120. Good find!!

For 109 bux, they aren't bad at all and probably better quality than those Kumho tires..
