does anyone make a tach control were i can still use my factor tach and use LEDs to make a shift light. i dont want a big ass monster tach with a light and thats all i can find. i need something that will just tap into my signal from my ign. and power my LEDs at a set RPM.

i work at advance auto, so anything auto meter sells i get 20% off, and i can't find any such control in the catalog.

There is a way to make a custom shift light. It's basically a voltage activated rpm switch. I've got the instructions printed out at home, but unfortunately for you, I'm at school. If I remember, the parts only cost around $30, and you set the rpm's by turning a knob. If you know at least a little about soldering and electronics you should be able to build the circuit. I'll keep searching for it and if I come across it I'll post here.
