hey whats up everyone. i have a slight problem here with my headlights. ive been told only the 95-96 get foggy, well seems my 97's are now. i bought them from someone and they are slightly foggy. i sanded one down and it looked good...till it dried. they are still foggy as hell. i put some wax on it and still the same. so now im questioning what i did wrong. first off i think i started to 'gritty'. i went from 600-1000-1500. should i be throwing in 800 also? i did fix this with my other headlights but i forgot since it was almost 1/2 year ago when i did it. god damn i hope its just cause i forgot 800! HELP!

when i did mine i started with 1000 and ended with 2000....go grab some 2000 and rub the shit out of it, make sure you are wetsanding it too...once you are sure its all smoothed out, use a buffer with rubbing compound on it, when thats done, use wax

where did you get 2000 at? ive tried napa/autozone/walmart and cant find it. ive been sanding the shit out of it with 1500. it gets alittle better but im thinking should i go back and start over? or do it harder? my hand is tired. this is worse then masturbating

i got mine at napa, you might have to ask for it though, it wasnt on the shelf, it was in the back....you shouldnt have to re-do it, but if you do, i wouldnt go lower than 1000...and yeah its gonna be foggy until you polish it, so just make sure it fairly smoothe with the sand paper before you do the other stuff, good luck
