Edmonton,
I made this valve cover for myself with the intention of using it with my new COP setup that I have in the mail. As you can see, I filled in where the spark wires used to go.
I have seen other valve covers in the gallery with people who use a different coil setup and just have the wires coming over the cover and dont use a spark plug cover (kind of like I have my wires just zip ties right now), but I never liked how our valve covers look with the big gap where the spark wires should be. Thats where I got the idea to fill it in.
I am going to run this cover for a week and see how everything holds up. 2 days so far, and all looks very good. I am going to do this to my old cover now, but I am also going to shave and fill in the spark plug cover bolt holes, as well as shave the spark plug wire routing arrows inside. And then I will have the entire top of the valve cover power coated, rather than just how mine is done in the picture. If I discover no problems with my cover, the new one I make will be for sale.
