Bodykit Question

What do you guys think of just getting the front bumper of, say a Blitz kit. Not the side skirts or rear bumper. Do you think it looks stupid that the front bumper hangs lower than the sides. I'm thinking of getting just the front bumper because I damaged my fron t bumper a bit and instead of getting another stock one, I figured I'd splurge a bit and get something nice. But I don't have enough money for a whole kit. What do you think about just getting the front part of a kit?

Honestly I don't think it will look good if the front bumper is lower then everything else. Sure it will look good from the front, but once you see it from the side. yuck. Why don't you save a lil bit more money and get the kit?

I wish that curb wasn't there. It doesn't look too bad, but I can't really tell with the curb.

a blitz front end with no side skirts makes the car look like a mini-snow plow.. IMO

the real question is.. do you want you car to push snow or race?

I was just using Blitz as an example, I'm not sure which kit I'll get, but more or less I just want to get something different. My brother does autobody and painting so I can get that part done for free. So I figure I'll just go for it. What kits would you suggest for a guy on a budget?

i'll sell you my side skirts.... i gave them one coat of paint and put one side on... i didnt like them, so i took it off... They are the blitz sides.. with the vent in front of the back wheel...

Thanks, but I think that if I order the front, I'll just order the skirts too. I might wait until after winter though. After thinking this through, I'm planning on doing mostly engine work until spring so I don't mess up anything exterior. I live in the Northeast

Dude you drive a '99 for cryin out loud!!!! The 97-99 front "mouth" is what made me fall in love with the Eclipse in the first place!!! I could never go from 97-99 stock body to any kit. Very true, I do like the front end, I was just thinking about doing something different maybe. Perhaps you're right, we'll see what my money situation is, that may be my best solution
