Dash work help!!

I'm in the process of painting some of my dash components. My question is does anyone know how to remove the center piece above the A/C controls, where the center a/c vents are? Thanks for any help. Also does anyone know an easy way of removing the door panels? Or a way to remove a few pieces without taking off the whole panel?

What are you painting your dash pieces with? I've always thought about doing it but haven't the first clue as to what type of paint to use or anything..

"Vinyl Color" -Its a interior paint. It works good so far, and it only cost $5 a can versus the stuff that shops will try to sell you. You can get it at Pep Boys or Autozone. I've heard DupliColor works good too.
