I want to do this in the back of my hatch...i already have all the measurements for it and got the box built and all. I cut out the design for the top layer from cardboard and realized it wont fit unless you bend it(MDF doesnt mend)So How do I go about making this top layer fit into the hatch. the guy is selling this whole box on ebay as one piece so somehow it goes in but i havent figured it out. please help!!!!

I built a new false floor in my '93, which isn't identical hatch but same problems, and I got my MDF to fit in. You just angle it to one side, slide that side in, then ease the other side in. It is very tight, but I was able to push mine in fairly easy. If that isn't possible, just cut it it two peices then put them in. Once it is in, just screw them together with some L-brackets and there you go. Good luck :thumb:

My first thought would be cut it down the middle(front to back) and put a couple small hinges on the back side so it folds in two but that would kinda stretch the fabric in the center.
