Feedback requested on red calipers idea.

My car is red and I've been debating on whether or not to paint my brake calipers red. I don't have upgraded brakes/calipers so is this idea ricey? My car is very clean all over (no decals, vinyl, crazy color schemes, euros, chrome, aluminum wings, or anything like that). I am meticulous and am sure that the calipers would come out with a clean look, but red painted stock calipers.... I don't know, I'm thinking too hard about this. They're behind aluminum OZ wheels. What do you guys think? Clean car owners only please.

My red talon has stock calipers that are painetd red( my gallery pics show a hint of it) If you do a search on painted calipers its been covered several times with pics.

Yes, it's rice. But, I really don't think it's as bad as throwing some craptastic universal wing on the back of your car. I've thought about doing it before, but probably only if I get new calipers, so it isn't such a pain to clean them.

Dude do what you want..IF you liked it I dont understand why you wouldnt if you even put a giant wing on it guess u could say its rice but it doesnt make u retarded its just u have a difference taste in style. I hate the term rice because it usually means something stupid that a person dislikes on a car. Well if a person put stickers and a wing on there car they obviously like it and its there style. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder Oh and the cailpers most ppl paint em cause they look like crap rusted,brown,and black POS.

I saw some awesome glossy black painted calipers tonight at Hot Import Nights on an IS300. I think he used G2. I'm gonna try that.

Hey man I have a red Eclipse just like yours and my calipers are painted red, and it looks nice as hell in imo. It doesnt stand out big time like you may think, its very sutle(spelling?) I think. I would post pics but my car is in the shop getting the turbo spoiler put on and painted, Some may think that is rice. But I havea question for you, where did u get and what kind of mesh grill is that you have in your front bumper, its very clean and i like the look of it alot.
