head unit problem

I bought the wiring harness and the kit today at circuit city, came home and plugged up the wires and what not but I get no power to the cd player. When I took my stock shit off yesterday it was giving power to the radio and what not but the cd player doesn't even light up. I plugged up the antenna and the two white plugs from the harness to the plugs in the back... any ideas whats wrong? Blown fuse maybe, and if so where are the fuses that control the head unit because I know they were under my hood in my 2g n/t.

Im having the same problem actually, is there a fuse for the radio in a 2g? i kno there is in 1g but i cant seem to find one for mine. i also recieve no power to the radio or the cigarette lighter, however the fans and heat controls work fine. for the radio i used a oem harness from bestbuy and used crimp on butt connectors to splice the wires and taped them pretty good after. any idea?
