Ok, well when i got this car it was off the wall rice with fake cf altezza's, and windshield washer led's...not to mention my local shops help of horrible tribal graphics.
Aight well im makin it clean...I took off the decals(whoo!), next i plan on gettin stock tail's and painting the corners amber(like the EDM's)...Then somehow i gotta find a way to get these washer led's off(superglued) without ruining the paint. For the interior Im going to make the dash, door panels, and center console fiberglass or maybe the easy way(bondo LOL) with some custom stereo fitting. Next step is a custom box in the back where the spare tire is...Then black housing projectors, and im gonna get my paint matched along with a couple of cans of spray(the same pearl white) for the center tail light piece, and a mitsubishi emblem decal for the reverse lights which i will pain over(it will only light up as the emblem)....I got alot of ideas for this car...I will post all progress and pics in this thread...feel free to drop opinions and ideas also.

They superglued washer leds to the hood. OMG
They didn't just screw them on??? wow, thats ghetto...

Goodluck w/ your "conversion", :thumb:

id say for the washer lights, leave em, cut the wires and paint them if you want them black, just stick a needle or small round file in the spout while you paint them. or you can just leave them silver, it dosent look that bad.

^^^^^^yah what he said,,,
i forgot to say that, my car had some leds and they left a ring, so i took them off and painted them gloss black. Worked good.

im having a hard time painting the door panels, i sanded primed and even put a paint adhesive and when i tape it up to paint another color on it the tape just takes the paint with it, i even bought scotch blue tape and it still does it :thumbdown

which part the plastic or the vinyl? if it's the vinyl it's not really a surprise...almost nothing sticks well to it...if it's the plastic, what kind of paint are you using? i've hard good results with krylon fuzion and duplicolor's interior paint.

pull it apart... thats how im doing mine.

if you look in my gallery, it has a bunch of red.. now goign all black. All of my interior was done with dupli-color. Best stuff ever :thumb:

well.. you really arent supposed to. Pull the door panel off the door, flip it over and look on the bottom. You will see little plastic welds. Take a razor knife and cut them off and the peice will fall of. To secure it back on just use some plastic epoxy, jb weld, fiberglass resin.. or somethign of the sort

whoa big update i used to have a r34 front on this and well this past saturday i got into a wreck, the bumper is gone well on one side and so is the hood and the right fender, this sped up the process alot, this weekend im goin to a local salvage lot with new oem's for 60$ and the fender for 20$, then im ordering a cf hood....

here's some pics of the damage u can't see that the hood wont latch and is bent pretty bad

those pics are from sunday, the headlight isnt pushed in anymore and i took the front bumper off, the corner light isnt working anymore on that headlight anyone have any ideas?

just got a estimate from a friend's shop with discount $1200, thats with me paying for the headlights and fender, they said they have to replace the whole front bumper support which would be around $350 at the most from a junkyard. This sux I'm even considering selling my car

If your keeping your car and the bumper support is just bent in the front, you don't have to fix it. :shhh: You should see the damage behind my friend bumper, LOL. He can't sell it, but he has no problems driving it.
