I just finished and installed my first homemade project for my car. I have seen this done for a 1g on the vfaq so I came to the conclusion that it could work for a 2g.

Thanks for the kudos guys. I regret to inform you that I did not take any pics while in the process of making it though. But I can tell you that it was done very similar to the 1g on the vfaq. I did run the wires through the door and what a joy that was. As far as slamming the door, I only have about 3-4 mm clearance from the dash board so I'll keep that in mind. If I end up making another for someone, I'll definitely take some pics and throw them on here. :thumb:
 
It's hard to tell with the picture, but side to side, it matches the A-pillar gauges. Up and down though it points a little lower than the others. The entire face is still visible though.

nah, i still gotta dremel the circle to be more rounder so itll accept a gauge. its been collecting dust forever, i dont know if ill ever put it in.
