Homemade gauge pod

I just finished and installed my first homemade project for my car. I have seen this done for a 1g on the vfaq so I came to the conclusion that it could work for a 2g.

Thanks for the kudos guys. I regret to inform you that I did not take any pics while in the process of making it though. But I can tell you that it was done very similar to the 1g on the vfaq. I did run the wires through the door and what a joy that was. As far as slamming the door, I only have about 3-4 mm clearance from the dash board so I'll keep that in mind. If I end up making another for someone, I'll definitely take some pics and throw them on here.

how good is it aimed towards the driver?

It's hard to tell with the picture, but side to side, it matches the A-pillar gauges. Up and down though it points a little lower than the others. The entire face is still visible though.

But also I think you shoulda aimed it upwards some to where it would look and flow with the rest of the gauges.

nah, i still gotta dremel the circle to be more rounder so itll accept a gauge. its been collecting dust forever, i dont know if ill ever put it in.
