Ok, my best friend has a 95 integra special edition. Well the door won't lock from the inside I geuss its a special feature so you cant lock the keys in the car because it is impossable. You need the lock the door from the outside. It is however a pain in the ass, but it would help me out plus it would be diffrent. Isnt that the whole point. Now there are probley other cars with this feature that Im unaware of, but my problem is locking the keys in my car, I always do it. Sometimes I swear my door locks by it self, but anyway how hard would this be to do. Is it just the locks itself. I dont know to much about locks, but I would love to have this on my car. I have a 96 talon w/o power locks if that matters.

I'd highly suggest not removing functionality from your door locks. It could be done as simply as disconnecting the interior switch from the lock actuator rod. Doing so would mean the outside cylinder lock is still functional, and works with the key, but you have no way of locking or unlocking the doors from the inside. IMO this would be a bit of a safety concern, (having lived in socal for several years and watching friends get pulled from their vechicles because they didn't have the doors locked at stop lights). I think a better choice might be to get a spare key made and slip it into your wallet, for awhile (perhaps still) AAA was offering credit card style keys for your wallet. So the short answer is yes it can be done, at no cost other than time, and rather quickly and easily...but are you sure you want to do that? with electric locks it would be a whole different ball game.

They work when you are inside, but when you open the door they unlock, well the driver side dose. The locks dont work on the inside untill you shut the door. Not sure if what Im trying to say makes any sence.

It's a Honda thing.

If your car keeps locking by itself, look into the the door switches. If you unlock the door and not open it, the car automaticly locks again. I had a bad switch. It wouldn't trigger that I had opened the door when I had.. so the damn thing would lock all the time.
