How to install a new headunit for a 98 eclipse

my dad wants to know how easy is it and what you would have to do in order to install a new radio/cd player in my 98 eclipse he says he is worried about messing up or cracking the trim around the center counsel...i may get a kenwood or that alpine 1 for 350... im not sure yet...but need instructions on how to do this operation thanks!

The plastic piece around the stereo and HVAC gauges will come right off, just take a small flathead and pop it off. After that you will notice the stock stereo is held in by 4 screws, unscrew them and pull the stock radio out.
