Help with my spoiler

I have a 96 awd talon,and personaly i dont like the spoiler it has on it, i was wondering if its real easy to bolt up the 2g eclipse turbo wing.

Weld up old holes and repaint. can be pretty expensive $$
then put new holes and stare at the fact you have UGLY wing.

Why do i say this, because your black top of your talon means you either
have to paint the eclipse wing black which is hideous or paint the wing the color of the car which also looks wierd.

IMO you have two options;
1. Paint your wing AND the top half of your car the same color as the body givin it the
same looks as the girly eclipse

2. OR: put on a 97-98 highrise talon wing. This wing comes out from the back hatch glass like the 95-96 ttalon one. It just rises up and looks great. This wing is also black on all talons and will look good on a 95-96 talon.

NONE OF THE ABOVE MAY APPLY IF YOU HAVE AN ALL BLACK TALON FOR THE OBVIOUS REASONS.

when i put a new front end on and painted my roof.. i installed the turbo wing... in my honest opionion i love it... it looks different.. not outlandish like the ugly 2gb talon wing, and i have had nothing but compliments... even from muscle car guys.. but if you paint the roof it will look good... but i would also get rid of the smiley face bumper as well.. i will get some pics in a few days and post them

Yah, I got rid of the smiley bumper also. though i don't really think the 97-98 talon wing is outlandish. Espcially compared to the 97-99 eclipse wing.

A third option is that you can replace the whole hatch and glass assembly with one from a GSX or GS-T.

Defintely the easiest option IF you can find one near you at a junkyard or somewhere.
I wish later eclipses and talons came in my car's color. i should of put that as an option though.

You can try msrecycling.com. Not sure if they ship. If it doesn't match your color, just have it painted.

Though for me
Blue metallic paint = EXPENSIVE to match and not look stupid/mismatched.
