I'm at a dillemma in my system building.. perhaps you can help.

Well, as you all probably know, im redoing my interior, complete with a new subwoofer enclosure. Heres my issue, should i keep the stuff i have now and call it a day, or should i get spankin new stuff to go with my spankin new interior.

Heres what i'm running now..
MTX Audio Thunder 6000 10" (two of them)
Rockford Punch 400s amplifier (one of these)

Or should i upgrade to...
Audiobahn Flame series subs ( click here for subs... )
Audiobahn amp (still looking for one)

I have no upcoming shows to attend, so im not really on a tight schedule.. what do you guys think?

It depends on what your trying to do. For show I would go all shiny stuff like audiobahn. For sound, neither. Are you going for SPL or SQ? What type enclosure are you using? Give some more info.

Go JL Audio with a rockford amp. audiobahn is crap. looks cool, but having a system isnt about the looks, its about the sound right? if you have the money, go JL w7. if not that kind of money, go with two w6's or 4 w3's =D

I guess i shoulda been more specific when i wrote it, i wa sin a bit of a hurry. It's going in a car that will probably see a few local shows, but nothing major. More of an SQ setup, but something that will pound pretty good when called upon.

how much do you want to spend? a decent one will run about a grand, for all the equipment, installation is extra if u take it to a shop

I'm going to build it with everything i have right now. After i get everything in, and finish my upcoming performance mods, and some exterior mods, i'll probably replacing the subs with Diamond Audio and the amp with either a DA or Xtant amp.

yeh, diamonds will sound pretty nice with a good xtant amp pushing them

you could always get elemental Designs. Any sub for any price. You can get a "K" which is a great sub for like no money, an "O" which is a really really good sub for a great price, and an "A" which is an amazing sub for like $300.
