im ####in sick of my bad luck..... my new rims which were near damaged once already in a near crash...then this... i took a wheel off and set it down, it didnt land flat, rotated, spun, then landed with the outside facing the pavement, as it was happening i was like 10ft away and i couldnt stop it that fast, and the tires had built in rim protector... but OF COURSE the only ####ing 1 inch tall rock on my driveway is right underneath the rim, and of course only 1/3 of the rim face is actual metal, and of course on the nicest part of the rim, on a spoke, it has to land on a rock, and of course... scratch and dent the shit out of it. my life ceases to make me feel good about anything, and something bad continously happens. but anyway, back to the orig. post, is there any rim repair shops or a way i can repair a small chip in my rim? its not the biggest scratch, but its semi deep, and i cant put up with a chip like this on brand new rims. please help.

How long ago did you get them? Were they shipped? If so just say that they were damaged when shipped and that you didnt see it until you mounted that rim on. Just a suggestion. :p

like a month ago...its real obvious it was from an asphalt rock and i dont wanna screw them over, it wasnt their fault :x i'd rather deal with it and get it repaired...i just have no money to buy a new one now, even tho i will end up buyin one cause my life sucks

hey man, I feel you pain. I got a brand new set of 18in Enkei RS-6's for christmas wraped in a low pro tire. I had not had the new set on for over a month when I went through a carwash (it was a "nice" carwas. you know, one that you sit inside a building and watch as the car is driven through) anyways I have a dent in both my front wheels. If anyone knows a way to fix or cover it up let us know!

For scratches that aren't insanely deep, there's this stuff out called GS27. Not only does it repair scratches on your body, but it works on rims too. Now for dents...I haven't heard of anything to repair that.

bah, thats for paint, my rims were sprayed a flat bronze but its not a normal clear-coat paint, i dont think it would work but ill give it a try.

im tryin to forget about it and it will be a good thing in the end once i get more money. ill buy one new tire/rim combo, and keep this minor visible damaged one as a spare :p, itll be a practically perfect rim spare just incase anything ever happens to one of my wheels.
