those do look good. What size are they? they look like 17's. and how did you polish the lip?

That they are.. 17 GSX Rims.. The lip was already polished, I taped it up.

To help with the criticizing?

I'll have some more pics tomorrow.

Well, basically these are the steps :

- Prep the rims by totally removing all the dirt. Aircraft stripper works good.
- Rough up the surface a bit w/ 220 grit sandpaper wet or dry.
- Applied 3 coats of Krylon primer.
Allow each coat about 30 mins to dry.
- Applied 4 coats of Krylon Gloss Black paint.
Allow each coat about 30 mins to dry.
- Applied 3 layers of Clear Coat.

And there you go. Just tape off the lip if you want that polished lip look. Oh and steel wool works wonders.

Look great. This is like the 5th or so time I've seen this conversion, nice everytime. :)

I'm also gonna need to repair one of my rims... it's a hyperblack color, anyone have an idea how much that may cost? I don't need a lot of paint, just painting one 18" rim with a polished lip.
