I got some roadster inserts for free, cant beat that :D :thumb: Now, i want to "implant" them in my fenders. I am wondering if i should cut out the inside piece. I've outlined it with a red line in the pic, tell me what you think.

Is there any way to make them functional? I think vents are cool, free ones are cooler...

I agree. Keep all of the insert and then cut out inbetween (sp) the vent pices. I think that would look good. I'm all about the free crap you can pick up or find.

its prob cheaper just to Buy them like that. less work to be done, i wouldnt touch that proj with a ten foot pole if i knew i could buy for less....

Dam right.
If it's entirely to hard to do yourself and you can buy it for cheap then just suck it up and buy it. I'm not into stressing myself out over something to often.

Aftermarket fiberglass pieces can be a huge hassle to line up correctly. I know a lot of you guys have these parts on your car, and I mean no disrespect, but 90% of the time the install comes out looking pretty ghetto, even after paint. If you buy new fenders, definately take them to a PROFESSIONAL body man.

Choking back my rising vomitus, I too thought cracking would be a problem with them mounted on the DSM's less-than-mighty fenders.

Hawk them on eBay would be my course of action.

hm, im not sure if i will put them in, i might sell those and use my money towards audio as always. btw, anybody want these? :p
