20" wheels

anybody have any pics of a eclipse with 20"wheels on it. My wife has a 95 gst showcar, and she wants to put 20's on it. if you know where some pics are let me know

That's really pushing it. My friend has 19's on his 97 GSX and he encounters problems.

I don't think you can even fit 20's on an eclipse......and still have it driveable at all.

i think itd be possible, ive got 19s on tanabe sustec pro and i could probably fit another inch, if i made the suspension a bit higher

yeah...anyone can get 20's....without mods on the car itself...your car will just drive straight...forever

I'm pretty sure they will fit cause i went to nopi last year and seen one with 20's on it with 255/35/20 tire and all he done was grind about 1/8 off the arm that connects to the top control arm . he was sitting on factory springs. As for this car, it is sitting on air ride.I'm gonna order them tomm so i'll post pics of the car with them on there.

Thats nuts! Grind off part of the control arm? If its show only but I wouldnt ever get in some hard turns with that!

As far as all the posts about going to far and ect - its his wifes show car, she wants 20 more power to her. Thats pimp!

i wanted 20" rims but the wishbone suspension killed my dreams, if you have air bags the wishbone suspension is gone and they will fit, i wanna see how they look, i had to settle with 18" chrome, don't look to bad cause they were the only other size in my rim... later on i'll do air bags and get my 20's..... good luck

Thanks I took the pic returning from the DSMtuners meet we had near Philly. It was a nice little convoy, I managed to snap the picture through the turn.

there is a guy on 2gnt that has 19's and he had to do a lot of #@%#@%#@%#@% to get them right, 20's is damn near impossible.

20"s are for envoys rap artists cars on mtv cribs. DSMs are tuners, sports cars, not ghetto bangers from LA. Just my 2 cents.

As i said before, this is a SHOW car. No need to take it to the strip or hang turns or whatever, it gets trailered every where it goes.And my quote for the day is " If you have a torch and a welder anything is possible"

Yes anything is possible, but where I come from, most show cars are able to drive away from the show... they usually don't have to be towed away and slapped into a trailer. Is it worth it? Why waste a perfectly good DSM and not drive it? Just my other 2 cents, I believe thats 4 cents total for me now.
