Took me about two days and I'm currently working on the carbon fiber version. I might be selling a few of these if anyone is interested, just let me know.

BTW, I'm really sorry about my desk being so clean. ;) (It's in the garage.)

Here is another piece I'm working on as well, I might add some 1" tweeters in the upper rand hand corner faced towards the passenger then one faced towards the driver on the other side./

Well I'm using it for my S-AFC and HKS turbo timer, but you could use it for whatever you want. Yes, I am using fiberglass.

PM me to set something up.

I just started glassing the part where you put your safc. I'm putting my mouse there for my car pc. This is what its going to look like when its done:

Yea neither can I. My car has been at slowboy for about two months now and I think I'm getting it back next week. I gutted the interior before I took it out there so I could finish shit up and have it done before I got the car back. So far I've made my CF headliner, glassed the vent, started glassing the little thing on the center console for my mouse, started glassing my passenger airbag for my PS2, The quarter window surrounds, started making my mold for the CF sunroof (where the glass used to be), finished my carpc up, ordered all of my gauges, started to re-wrap the door inserts, built my custom caliper brackets for my 3000GT VR4 4-piston brakes, and a few other things I cant remember right now.

I can make them without anything cutout so you can put in whatever you want. Gauges, S-AFC, TT's, screens, whatever.

Did you just learn how to do that by trial and error? Or have someone show you/teach you?

DAAAAAAAAMMMN!!! That will look sweet as hell when you glass the computer mouse in like that!!! Really looks good if you do it like that. Took me a few seconds to figure what the hell it was even though you say it right there. Very cool looking and I am sure that will definitely start some convo.
The AFC pod kinda' looks familiar from the Carbonwerks.com one, but hey, one can't knock a man for saving some cash and making his own. Great work man! Did you see pics of the full carbon fiber quarter rear window surround I was working on? Fin aly started on the molds for the lower portion last night. :) Anyhow, good work so far, keep it up.

I learned how to do fiberglass/carbon fiber work by trial and error.

That is the one of the things I wanted to buy from you actually. By lower portion do you mean the part with the speaker grill next to the rear seats? I will most definatley buy them off of you because I lost mine when I moved so I can't even make my own.

One of the best ways..and costliest ways too, but ya' learn really quick or go broke, with carbon fiber at least. I know alot of guys on the composite forum I am on learned that way and they dp this for a living too

Honestly you are doing great so far, if all else fails THEN hit me up. But keep at what you got going on cause it is coming along nicely! ;)
As for the lower panels, yes, I mean the lower portion with the speakers, but I am glassing the speaker holes over when I make the molds, hence the actuall part will be shaved! Shaved is always nice!!! The customer will have to cut it out his or herself. You should feel how freakin' heavy the master molds are!! Thank God the replacements will be in carbon. Molds are always heavy though.

We all need to hook up at the Shoot Out and check out each others interors. I know there are a few rides I really wouldn't mind checking out! And not from a business perspective but from a DSMer/creative perspective.
