I was thinking the same thing. The big font on there looks like the gauges on a Cadillac from the 50's or something. Still, good job on them. Looks damn good. Wish I had that know how.

Do you realize they're red, or are you actually color blind?

I drove a Pontiac the other night. The damned gauges are all hell red. god, what a rolling nightmare. It sure makes our orange look good.

keep posting things that look a little off. i still have the files on my comp and can change them how i want.

so far i have...

smaller numbers
change the red? to what?
take off the eclipse lettering (maybe)

They are definately custom, but man all that red gave me eye strain just looking at the pics.

That and you should keep your numbers horizontal rather than around the ring. It helps with the eyestrain.

i love doing custom work that i havent seem before just to be original. the gauges were completely free since i made them myself. Ill post more pics when i have time to edit them and everytihng

after i finish editing my gauges ill put the jpeg or psp file up so ppl can make their own

Maybe you could give us some insight into how you created these guages, peace. - Darrell

its not that hard, take your faces off, scan them to their real size, modify them under photoshop, print them out on like photopaper, one side what you want too see, other side with the colors that you want to shine through and with a little expermenting you have custom guages. Do a search on google and you'll see some kickass customs.

i never toook off my gauges or scanned them at all... i found a pic of aftermarket gauges online and outlined them in photoshop and printed them to scale using the rulers in photoshop. then i jsut started adding and editing different parts. I just made another version. this one i printed the front and back so the numbers will glow blue at night hopefully. I could have printed the back all black and just the numbers blue, but i dont want to waste a ton of ink right now. Ill install these and see how they look.

they are very easy to see btw. the numbers in the pics loook a little hard to see but they are fine

just finished installing them! http://www.angelfire.com/mn2/arcadecontrols/gaugefin they took a long time to make and even edit from the past set i did. It took me a while to lineup the front and back images on one sheet of paper but i got it perfect. also after putting them in car, they are a yellowish color from the bulbs but im getting blue bulbs later anyways.
