Should I buy a set of 17" Enkei RF-1 for next year?

you gotsta ride tha deuce-deuce, 20 inches nothin less homie
:p

i would ride either 17s or 18s, i like 18s better personally, but if you wanna drop your ride down more, go for 17s.

I personally like 18's as well but since the rim you want is only offered up to 17...18 would be out of the question. You'll probably like the look of 17's better than your 15's. You'll just have to be more aware of what you drive over depending on the profile tire that you get too (possibility of a bent rim if you hit a pothole, speed bump, or some railroad tracks too fast).

I have 17" Enkei wheels myself. I am very happy with them. I think you would like the difference it makes in your wheel well space. What tires are you thinking of?

if i were you i would look into getting 225's. they help traction a LOT. i have yokohama 225/50/16's on my car and they are great!

on another note, i wouldn't get nitto's. they are a great tire, and stick well, unfotrtunately they don't last for crap. they are REALLY soft and will be gone in 30k at the very most if you drive easy. mine were gone in about 20k :( the toyo fz4's are similarly priced and last a LOT longer. after the nitto's that is what i got. they had 45k on them with about 1/2 the tread left when i sold those wheels. they are also AWESOME in the snow. i left my 17's on all winter just because they were better in the snow than my winter tires were!

the yokohama's i have now are pretty good so far as well. i just got them about 1k ago, so i don't know how well they last just yet, but they were on sale at the tire rack for like 60 bucks a piece. i couldn't turn that down, even if they wear quickly. i can buy another full set, and it's still cheaper than one set of nitto's :)

Here are the tires I am thinking of putting on the RF-1's. Which would be the best?
Kumho ECSTA Supra 712 - $77/ea
Sumitomo HTRZ II - $89/ea
Yokohama AVS ES 100 - $83/ea
--------------------------------------------
Hankook Ventus HRII H405 - $77/ea
Nitto NT 450 Extreme - $89/ea
Falken Ziex ZE-502 - $86/ea
