I did some surfing and found this site:

A 360 degree camera system, costly however you can finally know the haters who vandalize your car.

I would like to know your guys 2 cents on the matter.
Pros and Cons

thats alot of money.... too many CON's on that..
- tinted windows, it prob wont work...
- will it drain the battery... 2-4 camaras and a vcr runnin off a inverter? With the car off... for at least 7 hours while your sleeping...
- no matter where you put it.. if something happens, you prob wont get the right angle... just a fact of life...

thats funny i was going to do the same thing to record races... i was going to use one of those k mart small home surv. cameras and a invertor and a camcorder as a vcr... but i like his cameras better... i wonder if u can just buy one color camera...

just my input...

[edit] Oh one color camera is $250! forget that....

actually Jaybone, the company is located here in my area and was at a import showdown a few days ago. I've seen the cameras in action. They do work through tinted windows, rain conditions, and during the dark. They are similar to the cameras posted at ATMs and banks.

as for the power source i forgot to ask them about that...have emailed them about that and HOPEFULLY get some info on that soon. It is true though, if the thing can run 24/7...it's really gonna start eating up the battery if there isn't a outside power source.

the cameras are not stationary and can be set up anywhere at any angle...you can get more cameras if you want but i think 4 is good enough...if some punk trys to key your car or attempts to break in it...they'll see the cameras...

LOL....yeah they are VERY $$$$ I'm trying get a friend of mine who uses a similar system on houses....and it only costs $200.00!!!

cheaper alternative...get a pitbull (or 2) and tie it to your car at nite. just remember to untie it when you decide to go for a drive....

Some nights when thiers alot of punks the neighborhood i stick a camera by the window and just put connect the rca's and watch it from my tv in my room...just press record at night and rewind it in the morning it will be alot cheaper;)

thanx guys, you all have provided something for me to think about...i think i'll just purchase a pager alarm system, auto lock, and club...yeah yeah...i know the club is something very very VERY easy to get past...but heck...it's one more thing for them to get rid of before doing a GTA on my car! ;)

the price of the system is just too $$$ as of the moment...i'll give it a couple more months/years and the price will drop.

and good point, a system that costs that much money...they'll just STEAL the camera system and leave the car ALONE! :)

I wonder if you'd be able to hook those cameras up to an LCD screen in your dash so you could also use one in the back kind of as a mirror, completely eliminate blind spots :)

yeah you can...just contact the guys...they claim that they'll respond to you asap...but i haven't heard from them since i saw their company at the import showdown....i asked them that very same question, answer...yes you can....they say they're constantly developing upgrades for the camera system...but still pay over 1000?!??!

are they a fraud company?!?! who knows...buy one :)
