yeah I like the looks when it is closed, but open :barf: and everytime i raced with my 240sx '91 I didnt wanna leafe my frog lights up, since they would kill my aerodynamic-ness... :D :D :D :D :D :D

Unless your doing over 150mph I dont think I would be to concerned with aerodynamics far as the pop ups being up or down.

And personaly I love them. I just wish the lines in the front lens's were not there so you could buff them clear. and just drive with them down.. makes the car look mean as hell IMO.

thats true... with the 150mph, ferraries have that problem, that they are 5 kph slower... but I just had a bad feeling... it feld like a handycap... :D well thats just me

If you have the money... take a spare set of flip ups to a plastic manufacturing shop and have them mold a fixed housing in the same shape... then you can mount these Hellas:

Same ones used on the Saleen S7. There is even a true HID version for the projector lowbeam.

Sound expensive? It is and I don't think there is enough room to mount both high and low beams. You can always move the low beams to the stock Fog locations and make a housing for that area. Like the ones you see on endurance race cars (or factory slant nose Porsche 911 race cars from the 80s). Lamps enlosed in non-optical protective Lexan lens. Bad example... but you get the idea:

The cheaper alternative:

Get yourself a set of these http://www.sylvaniaperformanceshop.com/performanceshop/productenlarged.asp?peid=34&pid=141894

Replace your stock fogs with them and use them as low beams (all you'd need really) and leave the flip ups down. Going further... you can make it so the stock lights light up as well... which will allow you to flash your highs when the situation calls for it.

You'd want to get some sort of protective film like Lamin-X for these guys though. One lucky rock and you're down $300.
