shaved handles + drag strip?

what is the rule about having shaved handles and going to the drag strip? ive heard that it is and isnt allowed from different people, so is there a defenite rule or is it track specific?

It might be track specific but it should be for all tracks.

Lets say you crash,your car starts on fire and they can't pull you out because you have no door handles.

Something to think about.

yea i know thats why i was wondering because i dont know if i want to do it (i doubt it, it doesnt look good enough to make a huge hassle everyday for my car)
