I am trying to run a 4 gauge wire from my battery to the back. Im running into a problem.... i cant find a hole in the firewall to stick the wire too. Where do you recomend i drill one or where did you wire yours. Thanks alot

There is a big factory grommet on the passenger side firewall.

Remove your battery and you should be able to see it.

That's the one I used.
But if your going to use it be prepared to get a coat hanger and feed through and then pull that power cord through. Personally it was a bi***.

:(

the steering column grommet is a good place...plenty of room to the 1 side to cut a small hole for your power cable...and also, if running unshielded rca's, be sure to run the power cable down the opposite side :)

you can put a hole in the fire wall, or try and squeeze it threw an exsisting hole. but there is an easyer way. my wires, two zero gauge wires, run under the car. u can use a peice of pvc electrical condut to run it front to back. I put two holes in teh anged portion of the spare tire well, and ran the condut right in to the trunk, trimed it primered the hole then used urethane caulk to seal it up. much easyer than running it threw the interior under the carpet and such. all of my batterys are in the trunk so I had some room up front for mouting fuses and such.

that's what i used, you will have to pull back some of the carpet at the passenger's side by the firewall, which is easy to do and you'll see a big phat Gromit infront if your face. and remove the battery to see it from the top, you MAY not have too remove the battery??? but prolly save more time if you do

Saves sooooo much time pulling the battery.

While it's out you can change your fuel filter too!

One of my friends was super lazy and run his through the crack in the hood and his door jamb into the interior. Looks like shit and I got a bet running it will get pinched and short on him.
