Anyone modded the blinker housing??

Ive searched and havent found what im lookin for yet.
The idea is to disable the pop-up headlights and fabricate a mount for a bulb into the blinker housing..in the blank spot..If anyone has any info or has done please direct me.

Ive started doing some of my own work on doing this mod ,but im not sure if the plastic is going to melt from the prolonged heat of the bulb??
Maybe use light/sockets from foglights? or another model buld and harness and just use the wiring from the pop-ups.?
